Damiba was established in 2002. by the idea of Branko and Vladimir Babic, who have noticed that the phenomena of infrared thermography is on the rise, while following the development of new technologies. The logical sequence of the events has led to the close collaboration of Damiba and a leader in thermal imaging equipment, company FLIR Systems from the USA, with European headquarters in Sweden. With great commitment and enthusiasm which was needed to educate a whole new market that was just ready for such a specific and high technology, after years of hard work and dedication, Damiba becomes, together with FLIR, a reference centre for IR equipment in the region.

 

Besides sale and after-sales services, Damiba today provides services for predictive maintenance with its IR equipment of the last generation, and Specialist courses in cooperation with renowned centre for IR education ITC, Infrared Training Center from the USA. Our most important clients and partners are the largest industrial and power plants in the country and region, like Iron Industries Serbia, Oil Refineries, Cement plants, Serbian Railways. Due to very high specialization, it was inevitable our very close cooperation with relevant research institutes in the military and civilian, as well as all technical faculties of universities in the country.

 

DAMIBA TRADE d.o.o. has been since 2008, in the sector of defence technologies, consulting and procuring controlled and dual-use goods for the needs of the Ministry of Defense and of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, as well as consulting in the military, civil and development projects. Damiba has the local confidentiality certificates, licenses and all the administrative permits to work with dual-use equipment, weapons and military equipment.

Damiba today is a modern company that primarily deals with high-end technology. In the year 2009, we have developed two new business units: railway business unit and medical business unit.

 

• In the railway sector, we represent the company VAIACAR SpA from Brescia, Italy (www.vaiacar.it) and the company Sorema ferroviaria SpA from Alessandria in Italy (www.soremaferroviaria.com) producing specialized machinery for the construction and maintenance of railway tracks.

 

• In the medical sector, we represent company IMS from Bologna , Italy (www.imsitaly.com), who is one of only a few world manufacturers producing FFDM (full-field digital mammography) diagnostic equipment.
